Jerry Cobb:
Jerry Cobb is the founder and primary transcriber for Trans-Copy Services. Jerry’s background in music covers 4 decades and ranges from cabaret performance in some of the top venues across the globe, to manuscript preparation for such greats as Quincy Jones.
Jerry was also the lead tenor with internationally famous groups such as The Ink Spots, The Platters and The Drifters.
While performing with the above groups, Jerry also wrote the arrangements and charts. Although his first love was always stage performance, Jerry spent many hours on the road studying and perfecting his technical abilities in music preparation and production and kept busy during breaks in performance engagements free lancing as a technician. Jerry has over 30 years experience as a free lance producer, and has produced numerous jingles for products and politicians. He has worked with new artists to put their original music on paper and recordings, as well as working as an arranger, copyist, songwriter and all around music technician.
Jerry is an ASCAP publisher, registered under the name of GEM-CAN Publishing.
