What makes our music services superior to others? Quite simply, it is Jerry Cobb's ability to hear every note played by every instrument on any musical recording.
Jerry is then able to transfer those individual parts to paper or via music software to a file and reproduce the exact recording as manuscript and as a computer generated audio rendering. The end result is what he calls his TEXTUS product.
Unlike other sites that offer you a transcription that consists of one or two parts, ie: guitar or piano, our TEXTUS consists of every part for every instrument on the recording along with a vocal line.
All work is delivered as transcribed from the original recording unless a custom orchestration is requested. For example, we can take a recording that used 25 instruments and reduce it down to 4 or 5 instruments upon request of the musician, keeping the integrity of the major melodic lines and chord inversions in tact.
